If you want a sweeper that combines the advantages of both a dirt-collecting sweeper and an outdoor sweeper, then you need a combination sweeper. This can both collect the debris in a dirt bin and sweep it to the side, depending on how the bin is set. This is because the collection bin is designed to be lifted or removed as needed. That makes the machine ideal for outdoor use, in agriculture or even on construction sites. By attaching it to your wheel loader, skid steer loader, unimog truck or tractor this allows you to clean roads, parking lots, construction sites and other utility areas such as in agriculture.

As the outdoor sweeper, the combi sweeper is also equipped with hydraulic drive. This is advantageous, as the machine can sweep not only in motion, but also in place. It is attached via the fork mount of the construction site vehicle or the front or rear three-point hitch of the tractor by connecting the machine to the carrier vehicle using a hydraulic quick release. The whole process takes only a few seconds and the machine is immediately ready for operation.

How the combi sweeper works

The combi sweeper is unique as it can both collect dirt in a container or sweep it sideways. This works in the case of the street sweeper and the sweeper for the construction site by means of a handle on the carrier vehicle. By moving the handle, the collection bin can be automatically lifted when needed. It maintains this position and the sweeper now sweeps the dirt sideways. In the case of the sweeper for agriculture, the collection container is not lifted, but can be removed by loosening four screws. In all machines, the operator of the sweeper is free to decide whether to collect the dirt or sweep without the container. When the dirt is collected, it can be emptied hydraulically on Type 2007 and Type 2008, and by cable on Type 2306 Agrar. On request, the agricultural sweeper can also be equipped with hydraulic emptying.

As with the dirt-collecting sweepers, the size of the machine is crucial. This is decisive for the respective size of the dirt bin. Again, a larger combination sweeper usually has a larger collecting container. The actual volume of MTS combination machines ranges from 210-600l, depending on which type and working width is considered. While the road sweeper and the construction site sweeper have a relatively large collection bin, which these machines are often used on construction sites, the agricultural sweeper is equipped with a smaller container.
