Why type 2008 is the perfect sweeper for the construction site

Type 2008 is a sweeper explicitly engineered for cleaning construction sites in building construction, civil engineering and road building. This means it is very different from our other sweepers, such as the sidewalk sweeper or the small sweeper, which are used for municipalities or smaller cleanup jobs. The focus is different: Type 2008 focuses on the work and cleaning of construction sites. Because there, a high amount of different and sometimes heavy dirt is produced, which means that it needs a very robust construction and durable material. In addition, it is advantageous to have a collecting container that can be lifted by the operator if required, as is the case with our road sweeper, for example. This allows dirt to be collected on the job site or swept to the side. This function proves to be helpful during construction site work and especially time-saving when cleaning up after the site is finished.

The construction site sweeper in detail

Type 2008 is – like type 2007 – a combination sweeper. This means that it combines the features of the sweeper with collecting container and the sweeper for outdoor use. This is because it has a dirt bin that can be lifted if necessary. Like type 2007, it is therefore ideal for building construction, civil engineering and road construction. However, this sweeper is much more sturdily built, as it has been further reinforced at certain points – including the housing, the wheel joint bearings and the double heavy-duty wheels – and is therefore engineered to withstand the most extreme stresses. In addition, the operator of the sweeper can decide whether to collect the dirt or sweep it sideways. Here, too, there is the option of swiveling the machine sideways three times. By default, the sweeper for the construction site has 2.0 m and is relatively heavy with its 550 kg due to the massive material. As soon as the sweeper is connected to the hydraulic connection of the vehicle, it is possible to start cleaning the construction site.

The construction site sweeper – due to its massive construction and weight – is not suitable for smaller carrier vehicles. As the sweeper is designed especially for construction site cleaning, it is particularly suitable for construction site vehicles such as wheel loaders, skid steer loaders or unimog trucks. Here, too, it is possible to attach it to other carrier vehicles, such as forklifts, telescopic loaders or to the Tractor. Other construction site carrier vehicles are also possible on request.
